Welcome Reception at

Carmine's Steak House

Connected to the Drury Plaza Hotel is a local social hot spot called Carmine's Steak House!

Club members were cordially greeted by the Carmine's staff and invited to partake in an open bar!

Hors D'Oeurves were also served along with a St. Louis specialty... toasted ravioli!  They were so good I went to the kitchen to see how they were made!  (Their secret recipe is:  Boil fresh ravioli until they are al dente' and let them cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour.  Then brush on an egg wash and roll the ravioli in bread crumbs.  Fry at 325 degrees until golden brown and serve with a fine spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese.)  They are absolutely wonderful and go well with a fine bottle of Merlot wine!

Holly and Dave greet club members on their arrival to the reception!

The members also met Judy Redfield, the guest speaker who would talk about American Silver marks the following morning!

Members chat and catch up on old times!

Some members came all the way from across the pond!

John shares a book he produced picturing all the American Match Safes in his collection!
