" Virginia BBQ" &

"God Bless America" Party

A tour bus is chartered to take IMSA club members to John & Joanie's "Virginia BBQ" and "God Bless America" party at their Bluemount, Virginia home nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Washington, D. C.

John greets every guest and "Welcomes Them Aboard".

This happy crowd is looking forward to a fun evening!

This was the view overlooking the valley from John's home.

John graciously welcomes club members to his home and explains the theme of the party. He said that this event was originally going to be decorated for Halloween, however, due to the September 11th tragedy taking place just three weeks prior, they changed the theme to honor those who had fallen and decided to call it a "God Bless America" party instead! Everybody obviously loved the change by the sound of the applause!

The staff for the evening served unlimited beverages and hors d'oeuvres. A sit down dinner followed with smoked BBQ ribs, salmon and chicken, sweet potatoes, au gratin potatoes, Caesar salad, green beans, cole slaw, and sumptuous desserts. Lemon Cello cordials were served after this most delicious meal.

Toasts were made and everybody celebrated the good time!

A very fine musician/singer entertained us throughout the evening!

The tables were beautifully decorated in red, white and blue and cameras were placed at every seat so the guests could record the nights events.

Joanie personally meets and greets the guests at every table!

Many club members have become close friends over the years!

John "Thanks" his family for all their support helping him set-up this wonderful "God Bless America" party. The club members agreed and gave them all a big applause!
