Exceptional Matchsafes
A
new
book illustrating exceptional match safes from the collections of John Antonelli and Nigel Ross with significant selections from other collections
has been published. Along
with the book, Karl Koenig, an IMSA member and experienced photographer
and print maker, has created, separate from the book, 2 photo-gravures of
match safes, (a special photographic intaglio process). The
gravures are available in a limited editions of 50 of each and are
signed and numbered by Karl. They will be available on a first come basis.
The
book is edited by Neil Shapiro and each beautifully illustrated image has the
relevant information of materials, makers, size, etc., listed.
