Description and Comments: This beautifully enameled art nouveau sterling safe was recently pictured in the October 2001 IMSA newsletter and is presumed to be of French origin. It is marked "900" and depicts two lovers looking into a reflection pond as Cupid stands close by. The lid is spring loaded and looks very much like a mailbox. Striker located at the bottom.
