The Twelfth Annual

International Match Safe Association Convention

was held in London, England

 

The 12th Annual IMSA Convention was held in London on April 15 and 16, 2010.
 
The meeting and program was held on April 16 at the Holiday Inn London-Regents Park.

 
A representative of the London Assay Office made a presentation to help us better understand the history and usage of hall marking. 
 
A trip was scheduled on Wednesday, the 14th, by train to Birmingham to see the completed museum of the J. W. Evans' tool and die makers manufactory in the old Jewelers Section of the city.  J. W. Evans made dies and produced a wide range of products including numerous vestas/match safes.
